Prof. Rania Swief received her B.Sc. degree from Electrical Power and Machine Department, Ain Shams University, M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt on 1998, 2004, and 2010 respectively. Ph.D. was in the area of deregulated market and price load market relations. Contributed in many papers nationally and internationally She is an IEEE senior member, Vice chair of IEEE ‘Women in Engineering’ Egypt Section, and counselor on the IEEE ECU student branch. She is the SAC chair starting 2023. She is a member in the CIRED Egypt section. She has many publications in local and international conferences. Supervised many Ph.D. and Master degrees in the areas of Smart grid, Protection, Deregulated market, AI application in smart grids, Smart Cities, electricity market forecasting, electricity market polices, and Renewable Energy New technologies.

Iraqi Ali is a Mechatronics Engineering student at Benha University, with a strong interest in the field of embedded systems. Beyond his academic pursuits, Iraqi is an active volunteer who dedicates his free time to exploring new cultures, building new networks, and giving back to his community. Currently, Iraqi serves as the Sectional Student Representative for the IEEE Egypt Section, in addition to his previous roles as the IEEE SAC Egypt Communications & Outreach Officer, the IEEE BUB SB Chair, and IEEE DAY Egypt Section Ambassador. He has also served as an IEEE R8 Entrepreneurship Ambassador and has participated in regional events such as the IEEE R8 Student and Young Professional Congress in Tunis 2022. Iraqi's enthusiasm for helping others unlock their potential and achieve their goals has been a driving force in his involvement with IEEE. He has contributed to the organization of various local events and congresses and has continuously developed his skills as an active IEEE Student Member. His passion for making a positive impact on his community and advancing the skills and abilities of volunteers and members alike is truly inspiring.

Malak Ahmed is a software engineer and artificial intelligence graduate from Fayoum University in 2024. She mainly works as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Fayoum University. Her experience varies between AI algorithms, natural language processing, big data, and web technologies, reflecting her innovative approach to technology and problem-solving. She has large-scale events management skills that include positioning and community growth through customer relationship management. She participated in over 6 internships throughout her university years including ITI, NDM, AUC, etc. Moreover a semester abroad at Nizwa Univerity, Oman. Giving back to the community as an energetic IEEE volunteer for nearly 4 years. Her IEEE journey started with helping and facilitating the process of the newcomers in their first year at the university, then through the public relations committee in the IEEE Fayoum student branch. Moving forward to being an officer’s secretary, which gave her a chance to enhance and automate processes to make it easier for the volunteers to give back to the community through more authentic initiatives, not repetitive tasks. Malak has had a significant impact on the IEEE volunteering experience at Fayoum University through more engagement with the sectional activities, and contributing the automating strategies to the sectional activities that she participated in. Malak joined the IEEE Student Activity Committee in the Egypt Section (SAC Egypt) as a corresponding member in the 2023-2024 season, which opened up an opportunity to support the IEEE Community all over the Egyptian Universities through manifold initiatives. Starting with holding weekly meetings with the IEEE officers every Friday named “Officer’s Night” to open a discussion between the branches and each other, and stay connected with the SAC team. Moving to support in publishing the first Technical Event Award. And many more contributions to every program. In her role as the IEEE SAC Egypt Technical Activity Officer for 2025, Malak envisions a year of impactful initiatives for the student branches. Her plans include raising knowledge-sharing, promoting technical activities, and encouraging collaboration and partnerships. Additionally, she aims to expand engagement through global communities. This vision reflects her commitment to empowering technical growth across Egypt and beyond.

Hager Alaa Abunar is a fresh graduate from Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Science and Technology at Zewail City of Science, Technology, and Innovation. She graduated from Zewail City with three different honors: one for scientific research, another for entrepreneurship, and the last for community service. During her university studies, she held various technical and non-technical positions, such as serving as an R&D Engineer at TileGreen for recycled building materials and as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. She also has been a Renewable Energy and Modern Digitalization Intern at Siemens Energy. Furthermore, she served as the Head of Scientific Reporting for JCAR, a joint research program between the Egypt and Netherlands Ministries of Irrigation and Water Resources, during Cairo Water Week for three successive years. Hager has won both national and international awards for her scientific and entrepreneurial achievements. These include winning the first international place at the IEEE International Conference for Smart Mobility at KAUST University at 2022 and the first national place at the AppX Competition for deep-tech startup ideas and business plans. She was also an active member of the Model-Based Team in the Electric Vehicle Egypt Rally (EVER) Competition. In addition to her technical achievements, Hager has held several leadership positions in the Zewail City community. She served as Fundraising Head for the Zewail City Science Festival in the 2021/2022 season, securing cash and non-cash sponsorships through sustainable deals that sustained for the next two successive seasons of the festival. Additionally, she was a Business Development and Business Intelligence Officer at the Valley of Science and Technology at Zewail City for four successive years and was a founding member of the first business incubator at Zewail City. Her involvement with IEEE Zewail City Student Branch began in 2019/2020, where she served as a Fundraising Coordinator. She earned recognition as the Best Member of the Fundraising Committee and the Best Member of the Branch. Moreover, she was the Chairwoman of IEEE Women in Engineering for the 2022/2023 season, leading 120 volunteers across nine committees. More recently, she served as an ambassador for the IEEE Student Activities Committee (SAC) Egypt for the Power and Energy Society (PES) Day and was the Event Director for PES Day in 2022. After graduation, she continued her service to the SAC as the Communications and Outreach Officer for the 2024/2025 season.

Tarek is a motivated Mechatronics Engineer with strong leadership and technical skills. He has a proven track record of accomplishments, including being an active member of IEEE for 5 years. Tarek's experience includes internships at companies like Elsewedy Electric T&D, SIEMENS Energy, ROBOTECH Egypt, ITIDA, and Talents Arena. He's skilled in SolidWorks, Classic Control, and PLC programming, and he is enrolled in the Google Project Management Professional Certificate. Tarek is serving as a Committee Member at IEEE Industry Engagement Egypt, Programs Coordinator at IEEE SAC Egypt, Egypt representative at IEEE PES Day, Event Director at IEEE Day Egypt for 2 years, Media Partnership Manager of the IEEE Egyptian SYP Congress, and former secretary at IEEE Egypt SIGHT Group. He has led various initiatives, organized events, and demonstrated expertise in public relations, fundraising, community growth, and team management. Also, he has a global contribution within IEEE global as he joined the IEEE Day team as an Events and Contests lead to be the second Egyptian member at the team, and recently joined the IEEE PES Day team as a communication Co-Lead to be the first Egyptian to achieve this.Tarek has a passion for business development and industrial automation. The convergence of technology and business development captivates his interest, as he acknowledges the significance of bridging the engineering-business gap to stimulate innovation and market impact. In pursuit of a challenging opportunity to apply his technical and managerial prowess, Tarek eagerly seeks to contribute to an organization, propelling growth, fostering innovation, and leaving a lasting mark on the industry.

Mustafa is a senior Electromechanical Engineering student at Benha University, with a strong passion for data-related fields and a remarkable commitment to community service through volunteering. Since 2020, he has actively contributed to IEEE student and young professional activities, taking on various impactful roles. Mustafa began his volunteering journey as a Public Relations member at the IEEE Benha University Student Branch. After that, he served as the Chairman of the branch in 2022-2023, where the branch successfully achieved 2 regional awards. In 2023, Mustafa expanded his involvement by participating in prominent events like MIE, IEEEXtreme, and NASA Space Apps Cairo. He also served as an ambassador for IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES), IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES), and AFRICON. Continuing his volunteering journey in 2024, Mustafa took on the role of Registration Team Lead for NASA Space Apps Cairo, where he efficiently managed large-scale event data and communication. Currently, he serves as the People & Admin Officer at IEEE SAC Egypt.

Omar has a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in 2024. He is now working as a Junior Software Engineer, the IEEE SAC Egypt Webmaster and IEEE AAST Alexandria Student Branch Chairman 2023/2024, an Ex-IEEE Region 8 SAC Web Developer, and the Ex-IEEE Computer Society Global SYP Congress Malaysia 2023 Webmaster. Omar started his IEEE volunteering journey back in 2020 as an IT and Media Volunteer at IEEE AAST Alex SB, followed by becoming the Head of the IT Committee in 2021-2022, and the founding Media & Marketing Vice-Head of the 1st IEEE Egyptian Student and Young Professional Congress 2022 (ESYP). Omar also made the IEEE AAST Alex SB Web App with his volunteers and many other web and mobile apps using Next.js and Flutter respectively. Omar has over 5 years of experience in graphic design, website, and mobile development, and enjoys volunteering and helping others.

Mohamed Mossad Elalfy is a highly motivated and versatile individual passionate about technology, leadership, and community development. Ranked 2nd in Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program, at Mansoura National University, with a strong focus on technology, leadership, and innovation. He has recently graduated from the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative (DEPI) software testing track and is currently advancing his career in the same field with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Mohamed is a passionate volunteer and leader. He is the Founder and Chairman of the IEEE Mansoura National University Student Branch and serves as the Programs Coordinator Corresponding at IEEE SAC Egypt. Mohamed’s leadership extends internationally as an Ambassador for IEEE Entrepreneurship Week at Region 8, reflecting his dedication to global collaboration and engagement. He has actively participated in prestigious events such as the IEEE Region 8 Student and Young Professional Congress (SYP), showcasing his commitment to professional development and community impact. Mohamed has also gained significant hands-on experience through internships, including working as a DevOps Engineer at Orange Digital Center (ODC), specializing in Docker and Jenkins, and completing training in Quality Control at BEDO Innovating Education. Noureldeen Abdalla is a fourth-year Communication Engineering student with a strong foundation in embedded systems and a passion for community impact. Currently, he works as a Training Coordinator at EYouth and has been part of Almentor since last year.With over than one year of technical employment experience, Noureldeen's career highlights include serving as an R&D Embedded Software Intern at BEDO Company, a leader in delivering end-to-end solutions for educational equipment and simulators with a global market reach. Additionally, he contributed to the development of embedded solutions for the automotive and IoT industries as a Software Development Intern at SEITech Solutions.Noureldeen has finished over 1,000 hours of specialized training , primarily focused on embedded systems, through prestigious initiatives like "Digital Egypt Youth" and Egypt FWD, sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and delivered by Sprints. In the realm of volunteering, Noureldeen began his journey as a Marketing Member at FYF and later joined Fernas as a Media Member. He went on to found Enginus, a student activity group that organized standout events such as the Space Day Event in collaboration with the Egyptian Space Agency. Building on this success, he co-founded the IEEE Student Branch at his institute in 2022, where he served as Chairman. Under his leadership, the branch grew to over 150 members and hosted impactful events. In 2024, his branch was selected to host the IEEE Egypt Iftar, a flagship event that brought together over 250 participants from 30+ universities nationwide. As an IEEE Entrepreneurship Egypt Ambassador, Noureldeen played a pivotal role in organizing the first IEEE Entrepreneurship Week in Egypt. Additionally, he served as the IEEE Day Ambassador 2022 at the American University in Cairo, advancing IEEE's mission of inspiring innovation and fostering collaboration.
